Healthy Skin
Common skin conditions - eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, blemishes, 'liver spots', moles, acne, wrinkles, stretch marks, dry or dull skin
Most skin conditions can be traced back to diet and hydration along with lack of sunlight and exercise. Skin breakouts may be a sign that the body is excreting toxins through the largest excretory organ of the body - the skin. Blocking this release through the use of skin creams will prevent toxic residues from leaving the body the way nature intended and may result in these toxins going back into the blood stream.
The skin is cytophylactic, allowing ingress through the epidermal and dermal layers of particles of light, air and fluids, whilst also allowing toxins and spent cells to pass out of the body through perspiration.
Skin cancer is said to be caused by too much exposure to the sun but in reality, lack of sunlight may be a contributing factor. Whilst the sun is the greatest source of just about everything it is especially renowned for the vitamin D that the body produces as a result of exposure to direct sunlight. Getting a good tan for three months of the year allows the liver to store enough vitamin D for 3-5 years. A lack of this essential vitamin may actually contribute to skin cancer.
Scrub 1:
Mix sodium bicarbonate, also known as bi-carb soda, with a strong vodka and make it into a paste consistency, apply it to the skin and scrub using a cloth or just your hands. Leave it on the skin for a few minutes before rinsing off.
Scrub 2:
Fine sea salt or rock salt mixed with virgin or extra virgin olive oil makes a great exfoliant that leaves your skin soft and smooth, taking away dead skin cells and opening the pores to allow absorption of the oil.
